A present by your side

I’m not sure when I went from reaching my hand out to the sky to try to reach the stars, to having the brightest star by my side.

I went from watching sunrises and sunsets from afar to seeing the most beautiful ones in your eyes.

From dreaming of a distant future to knowing I was building it in the present with you.

I’m not sure when it happened that all those things I called dreams, you turned into reality.
